SGTMT March Playlist

unnamed (2)

A bunch of music you should listen to in March. Now, we appreciate March is nearly over but we’ve been busy. Leave us alone. Bully.

Strong Asian Mothers – The More That I

Featuring Amer Chadha Patel, Josh Stadlen, and Kalim Patel (also known as SGTMT fav KHUSHI) we could not be more excited about Strong Asian Mothers. Never saif that before.

Ten Fé – Elodie

Poptastic. Another London act Ten Fé make darkly romantic electronic rock and roll. So we’re told. We like it.

M83 – Do It, Try It

We’d be an awful music blog if we didn’t draw your attention to the return of M83. Masterful.

Frightened Rabbit – Lump Street

We’d be an awful music blog if we didn’t draw your attention to the return of Frightend Rabbit. Masterful (well, actually not quite but, y’know, cut and paste).

Yeasayer – Silly Me

We’d be an awful music blog if we didn’t draw your attention to the return of Yeasayer. Masterful (well, actually not quite but, y’know, cut and paste). Original music journalism right here. Just call as Danny Baker.

Greys – No Star

Greys are the best thing to come out of Canada since that TV drama about Mounties. Whatever that was.

School of Seven Bells – On My Heart

The untimely death of Benjamin Curtis in 2013 was not the end of School of Seven Bells. Alejandra Deheza continued the project to release their poingnant final album. It’s marvellous.

Vita Bergen – Replace

New favourite band. Vita Bergen sent us a secret stream of their new album. It’s amazing. You can’t hear it though, just us ‘cos we’re special and you ain’t. Ha.

Shura – Touch (Four Tet Remix)

Someone let Four Tet remix Shura. It’s, of course, genius.

Tuff Slang – Nothing All The Time

Like.

BENEDICT BENJAMIN – I Wish Your Lies Were Better

Everyone is talking about Benedict.
