Washed Out – The Sound Of Creation

There was a time when Chillwave stole the hearts of the infamous residents of SGTMT Towers. We just couldn’t get enough, we even invented our own slo-mo farewell salute in honour of the genre. I know, we’re so hip.

The artist at the centre of our Chillwave infatuation was the pale named Washed Out (aka Ernest Greene). Gee what a guy.

Our interest has waned in recent times but it seems, possibly, that Washed Out is back. Deep breath. Now, this track is a weird promotional thing for Philips (I can’t bring myself to link to it, google if you’re bothered), so whether it actually heralds a return or just a brief head above the parapet, who knows (probably lots of people that are bothered to find out, I’m not).
