I used to play drums. I didn’t get good quick so I quit. Yep, a heartwarming and motivational tale of the fruits of perseverance this is not. However, my brief soiree into the sweaty, grunt ridden, intellectually challenged, metronomic world of the drum stool has left me with a lasting appreciation of a nicely arranged beat.

This tune from Lazyeyes begins with exactly that, an inventive rippling beat. Like. Work it together with soaring guitars and record it in what sounds like a cave and you’ll get quite a tune.
