PAPA – Put Me To Work

Here at SGTMT HQ we have damp issues. No, don’t worry Tim hasn’t been wetting the bed again, he assures us it won’t happen again and he’s very embarrassed about it so please don’t mention it or tell anyone. No the damp is in the walls, and apparently it’s either penetrative, rising or due to condensation. Urgh.

Sadly our DIY skills are somewhat lacking. The front door is held on by gaffa tape and we just painted the windows rather than attempt to hang curtains. So the fact we have ‘damp issues’ is a little disconcerting. DIY problem + our lack of DIY skills = ignore the problem and listen to music instead.

So, here we go. PAPA are from LA, Yankland. They are a two piece; Darren Weiss, Daniel Presant to be precise. They first stoked internet intrigue with their EP A Good Woman Is Hard To Find and now they’re back with the excellent Put Me To Work:
