Keep an eye on… Lois & The Love

You kids love Wayne’s World right? Yeah, me too. You remember Cassandra’s band Crucial Taunt? Yeah, me too. Well, I’ll be straight up with y’all, I don’t believe in reincarnation (though my mate does have a dog that seems to be possessed by Timmy Mallet) but Crucial Taunt may have been re-birthed into 2012 as Lois & The Love.

Having said that, they do boast some unique characteristics. Most strikingly, lead singer Lois Winstone’s voice. You don’t often hear anything like that. The press blurb describes it as ‘Fierce and Charismatic’ but that really doesn’t do it justice. On hearing it you feel like you’ve been hit by a small Exocet missile ridden by an uncharacteristically enraged Andrex Puppy. Listen to Rabbit Hole and you’ll agree.

Lois & The Love are based in London and have been destroying the smaller venues of the city for the last year or so. Fame beckons.
