Grizzly Bear – Yet Again

We’ve been out of the music loop for a couple of days, because we were busy enjoying ourselves at the Olympic Games. It’s great isn’t it eh? You don’t get many opportunities to visit something like that. Without shelling out a shedload of cash on flights at least. We even commandeered front row seats. Splendid!

Catching up on what we’d missed back in the music world tonight, we’ve found a lot of good music, but what would make it onto SGTMT? We don’t post everything, like some other outlets. We’re not a music news site. Only the best makes it through the net.

This song from Grizzly Bear stands head and shoulders above anything else we heard. It’s just wonderful. This is Yet Again:

Yet Again is taken from Grizzly Bear’s Shields LP, the follow up to 2009′s Veckatimest. Here’s Sleeping Ute, another track from the LP:

This album sounds like it’s going to be worth waiting for. Shields LP is due on Warp Records in September. Come to think of it, their office is just around the corner from SGTMT Headquarters (London Branch). We’ll swing by in the morning and ask for a copy.
