Amon Tobin has been bossing things of late, LIKE A BOSS.
I recently heard of someone who had taught their toddler to shout “LIKE A BOSS” whenever he got his way. Pretty sweet. Like the time I taught my nephew to shout “MICHAEL BUBLE IS RUBBISH” at the top of his voice in crowded places. I can’t wait to have kids, you can make them do so much fun stuff.
Amon Tobin should be shouting that, because he’s been bossing it with his mind-blowing live audio/visual show, his recent ISAM LP and this over-the-top lavish boxset which retails at $200. He’s also been making excellent hip-hop beats as this track from his Two Fingers side-project shows:
That’s called 101 South and is available to download for free over at this well known music site. It’s taken from Two Fingers’ second Stunt Rhythms LP which is due on Big Dada/Ninja Tune on 2nd October.
