Stumbeline – Ghosting LP

May 27, 2012

We don’t know much about Stumbeline.

Here’s everything: He comes from Bristol, he has been releasing music under the name Stumbeline since 2010 and he has made a wonderful album, called Ghosting, a collection of songs produced over the past couple of years. That’s everything we’ve got. But that’s enough.

Chillwave, downtempo, shoe-gaze, whatever you want to call it. It’s beautiful and it’s had us enraptured. Eight tracks of swirling echoey vocals, delicate breaks and haunting melodies, all combined with a deft touch. We love it.

Here it is in all its glory:

Ghosting is released 22nd June on the Hija De Colombia label, on digital and vinyl. Head over to Bandcamp to buy the digital version, head over to the label website to try and find out how to buy the vinyl, and keep an eye on Stumbeline on Facebook.
