Big D and the Kids Table – It’s Raining Zombies On Wall Street

I didn’t play football this week. That’s not good. Every Monday night I play football and get the opportunity to kick people, I find this soothing. If I don’t get a weekly opportunity to kick people then bad things normally happen. Fortunately, there is always Punk Rock.

I stumbled across the brilliant Big D and the Kids Table on the Mike Davies punk show. Any song that’s called It’s Raining Zombies On Wall Street just has to be listened to and Big D and the gang have produced a ska punk beaut with this one.

Now, I know that some readers of this blog won’t like Punk, ‘it’s a bit 1970s or 1990s’ you might retort. However, I just couldn’t careless. On this blog we post music we like, not music we’re supposed to like (though if Tim ever posts anything from his Elton John collection I’ll be proper narked).

Punk these days seems to only be ‘hip’ if the band is from Brooklyn and they wear stupidly tight jeans. Call me old school but I don’t care much for having my testicles vacuum packed and I’m not that fond of seeing yours either, so let’s drop the jeans (er, didn’t mean that) and let the punk music out. Honestly have no idea where this paragraph came from… tired…
