Some days aren’t good music days. Everything on the internets today, it seems, is chillwave, or chillpop, or chillstep, or really bad dubstep. Thank goodness for CSS, who came up with the goods to rescue the day.
Taken from their third La Liberación LP, City Grrrl is all big synth-lines and trumpets and has a video which portrays a startlingly accurate interpretation of what it’s like to live in a city, for me at least. I’d have stuck with the yellow cat (burglar) jumper we see at the beginning of the video though, instead of faffing about with all the costumes changes. There’s no time for that in the smoke, Lovefoxx dear.
