It’s Saturday night, so, as is my custom, I’m drinking whisky, watching Match of the Day and surfing music blogs. Actually that last bit is horribly false, I was surfing through the blogosphere but quickly got bored (please people, stop posting the same music, grr). I realised I wanted punk, punk solves everything. I can’t explain why but I just did and most super hipster type blogs sadly don’t do punk. So, with no further ado I headed in the direction of the greatest label in existence (like, ever) Fat Wreck and stumbled across the excellent Banner Pilot.
Alchemy is the lead out track for their latest album Heart Beats Pacific and delivers the sort of melodic punk tune that I find utterly irresistible.
