This evening, I have been mainly listening to Efterklang‘s live performance of The Soft Beating, originally from their Magic Chairs LP, at Roskilde Festival in 2010.
Efterklang’s Rasmus emailed me earlier (getting emails from my favourite bands never gets old!) to draw my attention to it’s loveliness, which you can stream below:
How can you get your hands on it? Well, it’s part of a live digital EP which is given away free with Efterklang’s film collaboration with Vincent Moon, An Island. We’ve been banging on about this film, because we love it. The finished article looks really beautiful too, doesn’t it?:
