Floating Points – Shadows EP

November 3, 2011

We first posted about Floating Points in January, with a Keep an eye on… piece. These days nobody needs a reminder to watch him. He’s become a producer of consistently seriously good music. A go-to-guy for vibes. And so on.

His latest release, the 5-track Shadows EP, is well good. Especially Sais, below. The video with it is pretty sweet. It’s made by his pal Will Hurt, who’s programmed some blah blah visual representation of the music blah blah (didn’t they do that 15 years ago with that Winamp thing?)

Anyway, it looks quite nice. It sounds amazing. Make sure you give the tune time to unfold.

Shadows EP is out November 21st on Floating Points’ own Eglo imprint.
