Ralph, Piggy, Jack and a whole plane load of adolescent boys crash land on a Desert Island, is a ‘Famous Five’ style adventure about to take place? Nope. William Golding had other plans and Lord of the Flies descends into a gruesome exploration of the inner evils of mankind. As famous as that story maybe, I’ll admit I never quite expected the novel would be depicted again in a music video but Funeral Suits had other ideas:
Though the Funeral Suited ones don’t appear mid song with their ‘Conch’ in hand that doesn’t detract from a quite brilliant song from this Irish threesome. Health is due to be released on the 26th September ahead of an album due later in the year. Watch out for these chaps. Although growling indie rock bands come and go, few deliver such tuneful, meaty and splendidly morbid tracks with as much invention and tap your foot goodness. Love it.
