Films Of Colour – Capital

I’m watching the weather forecast and apparently tomorrow is supposed to be wet. This annoys me. I’m actually not to fussed about the rain (it’s Britain, what do you expect?) but what bothers me is that tomorrow people will whinge about it. People I meet, people on Facebook / Twitter, people who should know better, they’ll grumble that ‘it’s summer so it should be sunny’, blah, blah, etc, etc. So I thought I’d use this miniscule pedestal to grumble about the grumblers. So there we go.

The above moaning bears no link to what follows in this post, none whatsoever. Apart from perhaps that Films Of Colour have lightened up my evening with the brilliant track below Capital. It’s out on iTunes on the 25th July.

The press blurb for this band is a bit over the top. In one sentence alone they’re compared to Foals, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Miike Snow and Muse. I’m waiting for the follow up email with further comparisons to Fleetwood Mac, Mozart, The Beatles, Moses and Shakespeare. Crumbs I’m grumpy this evening.

I won’t indulge in pale artist analogies or even try to write much more (it’s late and I’ll just get grumpier) so I’ll leave you with some music. Dodge the showers and lap this up instead:
