The Great Escape – Review of Reviews

Prior to The Great Escape 2011 we pumped out a Preview of Previews highlighting what those in the blogosphere and music press were looking forward to. To neatly follow this up we’ve decided to revisit the same people and collect their reviews (if posted) from TGE2011.

Breaking More Waves has delivered an uber detailed look back at the weekend chronicling everything from the toilets to the weather. Read it here. They particularly liked:

Lungs Quicken by Lanterns on the Lake

Faded Glamour were also at TGE and have distilled their thoughts and chosen their Top 8 performances for you to enjoy. They were keen on this:

Christian AIDS – Stay Positive [a-side] by blalalapuntnl

Over at the NME they’ve blogged a brief review but they’ve also uploaded dozens of photos and videos. They liked this:

Just Music That I Like reviewed each day separately; Thursday, Friday, Saturday. One band they liked:

Let’s Buy Happiness ‘Six Wolves’ by letsbuyhappiness

The Recommender chaps fired up this review which includes the Wednesday launch party and the Bloggerati meet which I skipped to see Tall Ships. They liked Mirrors amongst others:

Mirrors – Into The Heart by The Recommender

We at SGTMT have also kindly delivered (aren’t we great) reviews of Tall Ships, Yaaks and The Jezabels. Gutted to have missed this:
