Is dubstep the new punk?

I’ve only got one piece of evidence to support this question but it’s significant: you can do a cover / remix of anything and it sounds acceptable.

You may end up wasting more of your life than you ought testing this theory, to get you started here’s a festive treat followed by my personal favourite…
