Indie starlets Tapes ‘n Tapes have issued a free download of their new single Freak Out.

This sort of middling indie smudge normally makes me run for cover (or at least remove my earphones and tut loudly with indignation). However, on a calm, sunny but mild Brighton Monday morning it sort of fits the mood.

Their new album, Outside, (it’s called Outside btw, it’s not waiting ‘outside’ for you following delivery from Mr Amazon, although if you’re reading this in November after it’s release and you have ordered a physical copy then maybe it is literally waiting outside…) is released on the 1st Nov and promises to be quite pleasant.
